Interns from Fran­coph­one coun­tries for aca­d­e­mic year 2011–2012

Next year 2011–2012, NYFACS in part­ner­ship with Amity Insti­tute will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in a pro­gram for interns from abroad.  We will be host­ing  interns from Fran­coph­one coun­tries around the world.

The interns will be stay­ing any­where from 1–2 Aca­d­e­mic Semes­ters.  These interns will be placed in the class­rooms in order to pro­vide extra sup­port for our students.

We are begin­ning our recruit­ment of host fam­i­lies now for the school year 2011–2012.  Please review the Amity Inter­ship Host Fam­ily Flyer 2011 to see if you may be inter­ested in hosting.

NYFACS will be pro­vid­ing all the nec­es­sary sup­port and guid­ance for a suc­cess­ful host expe­ri­ence for all of our fam­i­lies through our intern­ship pro­gram.  Best of all, this pro­gram will allow our class­rooms to have addi­tional French-speaking aids to help with our stu­dents’ French acqui­si­tion as well as all the day-to-day activ­i­ties in the class­room.  The interns come from teacher prepa­ra­tion pro­grams in their own coun­try and will be a won­der­ful, authen­tic Fran­coph­one source for our students!
